Students had to demonstrate their understanding of life in Rome through the creation of a screenplay.Students needed an intimate knowledge of the rituals, religion, social hierarchy and culture of Rome to make their script come to life. Students adapted specific roles from the film industry like actors, director, camera and audio technicians.Both films were recorded in less than a week and most of the filming was shot in the Wide Bay Resource Centre in front of some carpeted blue screens.The blue was later replaced by pictures of Rome using video editing software.
